Midsummer Maiden is a project for which I was challenged to create a visually appealing T-shirt design, which I would wear. At the time, I was strongly influenced my art nouveau design and illustration. I was particularly intrigued by the illustration style of the long, windblown hair, and structured frame-like elements. The illustration of the bird on the front pocket area unites both illustrations through style, colors and the repetition of birds on the back-piece.
